AmeriSys is a regional managed care organization founded in 1985, which originally operated under the name of ERS until 1995. For those ten years ERS was a successful regional disability management company in Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas, and other southeastern states. ERS and its sister company ISMUS were the first integrated managed care initiatives specifically for Workers' Compensation in Florida. AmeriSys is dedicated to providing comprehensive, quality services on a national basis with attention to local service. Our medical management services are provided to self-insured employers, insurance carriers, service companies and other claims organizations.
As of April 1, 2000, AmeriSys was acquired by Brown & Brown Insurance Services, Inc. The depth and stability of one of the largest insurance brokerage firms allows us to assure our customers that we will be there for them.
Our organization attributes our success and growth to the retention of our customers as well as word of mouth referrals. We do not have a "marketing" department to "sell" our services. It is the reputation of service delivery and our culture of adapting our services to meet the unique and specific needs of our customers that are our greatest "sales" features.
